Qur'an Comprehensive

To make the course more beneficial, we suggest you do the following homework before 20th Ramadan:

If you don't already know off by heart, please try and memorise at least last 11 chapters (surahs) of the Qur'an Kareem, starting from Surah 104 (The Slanderer al Humazah) to Sura 114 (The People - Annaas).

If you've already memorised the last 11, choose another 11 from the last part (chapter 30 - Juz Amma).

Please read and if possible make some key notes to a selection of the last 14 surahs. Try and read at least three different commentaries/explanations (tafseer - plural tafasseer). You may choose any tafseer, none the less we have provided two below:

The Taddabburul Qur'an by Amin Ahsan Islahi (originally in Urdu). See English translation here. The site also has some excellent articles by him on the Qur'an style here under the section 'Quran'.
