Did you attend Knowledge Seekers in the past? Well, a number of things have changed since the time you
were a participant. Some things have stayed the same.
Changes include this new website, an online application process and the timing of the course now being so close to Ramadan (in about 100 days). Things that stayed the same - Markfield in the Summer, mole hills on the football pitch, eggs for breakfast and anxieties before the course - "I don't wear a scarf, will I be judged?", "Am I sharing my room?", "What will my kids be doing?", "I want to come but can't afford it", "I am ashamed to say don't know anything about Islam", "I can't read Qur'an" ... etc.
All of you may remember some of these worries and anxieties and we pray that many of these evaporated into dim and distant memory as you reflect on your experiences.
We would like you all to post your advice to the future participants on these issues (and any more that come to mind). If you had personal experiences or advice you would be willing to share, do send them to us using the form below. Do also use the form to leave any feedback that you think will help us improve the course.
And if you wish to get in touch with some of the other past participants, please click here to request an invite to our egroup.
