Knowledgeseekers is pleased to present 4 graded Residential Qur'anic Arabic Courses at The Islamic Foundation, Leicester, this winter (27th Dec. 2011 to 2nd Jan. 2012).

Level 1: Read and Write the Qur'anic Arabic Script with Tajweed   [ Course Description | Register ]

Designed for students with little or no exposure to the Qur'anic Arabic Script. Designed as a 30hr intensive course it seeks to equip the students with all the basic skills required to read the Qur'an with Tajweed and write the Arabic script from dictation.

Level 2: Fundamentals of Qur'anic Arabic (Introductory)   [ Course Description | Register ]

Specifically designed for students who have completed level 1 but who have little or no previous knowledge of the Arabic language. Its aim is to enable you to develop a basic vocabulary as well as a grasp of fundamental grammatical structures utilizing frequently occurring Qur'anic words so that you capable of understanding and communicating in both spoken and written Arabic. There will be approximately 8 contact hours per day during which 6 modules will be taught over the 5 days.

Level 3: Fundamentals of Qur'anic Arabic (Intermediate)   [ Course Description | Register ]

Specifically designed for students who have completed level 2. Its aim is further consolidate a basic vocabulary as well as a grasp of fundamental grammatical structures utilizing frequently occurring Qur'anic words so that you capable of understanding both spoken and written Arabic. There will be approximately 10 contact hours per day during which 6 modules will be taught.

Level 4: Reading Clasical Arabic without Tashkeel   [ Course Description | Register ]

Level 4 is specifically designed for students who have completed level 3. Its aim is further consolidation of fundamental grammatical structures utilizing frequently occurring Qur'anic words so that you capable of understanding and communicating in both spoken and written Arabic. Specialist unvoweled texts have been introduced to develop the skill of translation from Arabic into English and from English into Arabic.

Tuition Fees

The fees for the 2011 Winter Courses have been heavily subsidised.

Is there a cap on attendees?
Our courses are restricted to roughly 12 students per class. Registrations will be honored on a first come first serve basis. Early registration is recommended to avoid disappointment. Students that do not pay their tuition on time are not guaranteed a place.
